Scorch has featured in Televisual’s Top 50 Production Companies for the fifth year running, and within the top 10 for the second consecutive year – we guess that means we’re pretty hot in the video production industry right now!
The Top 50 ranks video production companies based on a range of different factors including permanent staff numbers, reputation amongst peers, and industry awards.
Taking a look at our work with top brand’s Eurostar, Nutmeg and Mazda, Televisual was particularly impressed at our creative success in producing our first piece of fully animated virtual reality content for the French car brand, Renault, which will be distributed across their European dealership network.
Televisual were also impressed by the 26 character animations we created for the BBC Bitesize online portal (which were all produced in less than six weeks).
Scorch London Co-Founders and Managing Directors, Steve Jay and Tristan Ramsay, told the long-standing broadcasting and production magazine that we plan to continue “to expand our range of services and build out our advertising, digital and animation credentials to complement our corporate core” as well as “building our VR capability and capitalising on the increasing demand for technology-led video formats.”
Three years in the Peer Poll Top 10
We were also featured in the magazine’s Peer Poll Top 10 for a third year running, coming in at third place.
The Peer Poll Top 10, which ranks corporate production companies that are most admired by competitors, described Scorch Films as being “forward thinking and disruptive.”
We were also praised for the professionalism and high-standard of our website and marketing efforts: “The way in which they promote themselves, from a stylish and impressive website to a cutting edge showreel, is something to learn from and respect.”
In last year’s poll we also came in third position, where we were described as being “relentlessly creative”, as well as having an “impressive breadth of services, great clients.”
