The Brief
To produce a television commercial to promote travel booking website wakanow.com to the 18-35 year old local Nigerian market.
The Approach
Taking the concept of 'life is a blank canvas', we show an artist drawing scenes from some of the world's favourite holiday destinations, which are then brought to life with a wash of bright colours. Typical Nigerian travellers enjoying their holidays are transported into each of the drawn scenes.
The artist was filmed in a large studio drawing onto a huge canvas, with the drawings themselves added in post-production. The actors within each of the scenes were filmed in a green screen studio, and placed in afterwards as well. The result is a stunning organic look which really showcases the vibrance of the destinations and instills in the viewer the excitement of visiting these locations.
