The Brief

Come up with an exciting (cars, girls…more cars, you get the idea) title sequence for the forthcoming TV series ‘Gumball 3000: Around The World In 8 Days’ for Channel 4.

The Approach

We relished the chance to tell the story of the Gumball rally to the audience in a bold and fun way. We began by planning a story for the sequence to follow, and then built up a library of painstakingly cut out pictures from the race. The resulting animation is a lively homage to the adrenaline (and petrol) fuelled world of the Gumball. Flowing from scene to scene to end on the familiar bumper sticker brand of the rally.

We also devised the entire graphics package for the series, from animated maps to viewer competition screens, we did the lot.

I think what you've done is nothing short of phenomenal. You've captured every element perfectly and you are an absolute pleasure to work with.
